Sara Blaska

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Sara received her BS from Central Michigan University in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in American Sign Language in December 2010.  Sara has experience working with people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and developmental disabilities serving both children and adults.   Sara has provided skills in adaptive outdoor sports, community reintegration, summer camps, therapeutic use of card and board games, crafts, fitness, yoga, and cooking.  She has spent her career working in a variety of work settings including nonprofits, in public schools, inpatient rehab as well as home and community reintegration.  Some of Sara’s passions include her love for the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, traveling, cross country skiing, bike riding, baking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and family.
