Lauren Grendysa

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Lauren graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. She completed her internship at Neuro Restorative, where she gained lots of experience in aquatic therapy and community reintegration while working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Lauren has also enjoyed serving a wide range of populations, including individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorder, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Her passion lies in promoting meaningful leisure and rehabilitation opportunities that support each person’s well-being and independence.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys taking her dog on hikes, kayaking, gardening, playing pickleball, going to sporting events, and spending time with her family and friends.
