Halie Porritt

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Halie graduated from Central Michigan University in 2014 with a bachelor of applied arts degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in American Sign Language. Halie completed her internships at The Lighthouse Neurological Rehab Center in Traverse City and Pine Rest Mental Health in Grand Rapids. Halie has experience working in a Skilled Rehabilitation Center, outpatient rehab center and home and community based recreation therapy with various populations including pediatrics and adults with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders and physical disabilities. She also has experience in aquatic therapy and adaptive sports and is working towards becoming ATRIC certified. 

Halie is newly married and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and meet new people!
