Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Green graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation in 2025. She has experience working in a variety of settings with individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, developmental disabilities, and other physical disabilities in both clinical and community settings.

Green believes that meaningful leisure is essential to living a healthy and fulfilling life. She approaches every client as a CTRS wearing many hats; therapist, educator, advocate, coach, cheerleader, and community connector. She is passionate about helping individuals build their confidence, discover new skills and interests, and create unique leisure routines that bring purpose, joy, and connection.

Green’s favorite leisure activities include exploring creativity through different art mediums, baking new recipes, making memories with family and friends, and relaxing with her feisty calico cat, Joanie.
