Ashley Wright

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Ashley graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She completed rotations in physical rehabilitation, adaptive dance, and metal health before completing her internship with the traumatic brain injury/spinal cord injury population. Ashley went on to work for a short-term mental health facility for 6 years working with both children and adults with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Taking a swing at case management, she worked as a case manager for 2 years prior to joining the team at HCRT. Ashley actively participates in sports, creative outlets, music outlets, and outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, and taking care of her chickens. Ashley enjoys learning new skills to share with her clients to increase their quality of life.
