Taylor Yau

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Taylor graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation. She has experience in treating adults and adolescents with mental health concerns, traumatic brain injuries, cognitive delays as well as older adults and individuals on hospice. She is incredibly enthusiastic, optimistic and energetic at all times and reminds people of a Golden Retriever. Her ultimate goal is to hug every geriatric person she meets and show the world the value of Recreation Therapy for all ages. Taylor loves to travel, spend time with her husband and dogs and values quality time spent with loved ones. As a military spouse, she deeply understands the meaning of “every second counts” and lives by her Grandpa’s saying of “people are perfectly imperfect.” Taylor is incredibly grateful to work for an amazing company and can’t wait for everyone to experience the benefits of Recreation Therapy.
