Robert Wolfe

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Robert graduated with a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Eastern Michigan University. He has worked for Home and Community Recreation Therapy since 2010. Prior to coming to HCRT he worked in the University of Michigan Health System for 20 years where he helped to start the Recreational Therapy program in the department of PM&R.

He has taken an active interest in working with both traumatic brain injured, and spinal cord injured clients. In the past he has been involved in organizing adapted sports programs, expos for individuals with disabilities and coordinating programs for children with special needs through Mott Children’s Hospital and the University of Michigan Dance Marathon.

Current clinical treatment interest includes assisting individuals with accessing the outdoors, hunting, and shooting related activities, community reintegration, home improvement and community reintegration options. In his free time Robert enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hunting, raising chickens and home improvement activities.
