Kyle Strong

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Kyle served in the US Navy until September of 2013. He discovered recreational therapy through the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) while processing out of the military and decided this was the career for him. He attended Eastern Michigan University and received hi Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. Kyle completed an amazing internship with Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan through the Detroit Medical Center. He has extensive adaptive sports volunteer experience with Thunder in the Valley, Camp Sportstacular, and Detroit Diehards Wheelchair basketball club along with Wheelchair basketball tournaments.

Kyle loves adaptive Sports, video games, sports, reading, biking and dogs. He loves his chocolate lab name Maxx.
