Betty Hartwig

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Betty graduated from Eastern Michigan University in April 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. She competed her internship at RIM Novi where she discovered a passion for aquatic therapy. Previously she worked in Berkley and West Bloomfield school districts, primarily with children on the Autism Spectrum, and also volunteers with therapeutic horseback riding.

Betty enjoys any and all outdoor activities, especially swimming and kayaking. She also loves animals and hopes to become certified in animal-assisted therapy in the future.
