Ashley Wright

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Ashley graduated in 2012 from Eastern Michigan University with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. She completed her internship with Rainbow Rehabilitation with the traumatic brain injury/spinal cord injury population and continued to work with Rainbow Rehabilitation for one year. Ashley then worked for Havenwyck Psychiatric Hospital, a short-term mental health facility, for 6 years working with both children and adults with mental health and substance abuse disorders. She then worked with Rehab Innovations as a case manager for 2 years prior to working with HCRT. Ashley actively participates in sports, arts and creative outlets, music outlets, and outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and biking. Ashley enjoys learning about new activities to give her as many activities possible to provide clients with the best chance at learning a wide array of coping and leisure skills.
